Sriman Nityananda Prabhu’s Namahatta,
nadīẏā gōdrumē nityānanda mahājana.
pātiẏāchē nāmahaṭṭa jībēra kāraṇa.
Being very passionate towards conditioned, illusory and fallen people of Kali Yuga, Balarama of Braj, who appeared as Nityananda Prabhu in Kali Yuga started the Namahatta preaching at Surabhi Kunja of Nadia Godrum Island. So that through Namahatta the conditioned creature can go back to its own Lord’s abode. Sri Sri Hare Krishna Namahatta is one of the divisions of ISKCON to impart education on how to practice Krishna consciousness from staying home and preach to the people of all walks of life in cities and villages.
Purposes and activities of Namahatta-
It is impossible to progress both in spiritual and material life in this Kali Yuga without chanting Hare Krishna Mahamantra introduced by Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. To highlight this teaching, Namahatta Sangha is formed in every town and village of the country.
To form ISKCON Hare Krishna Namahatta National Steering Committee to increase Namahatta preaching further in Bangladesh.
To appoint a district preacher to provide education on how to form a divine family through the service of Radha Govinda being free from bigotry, superstition and fanaticism in the name of religion.
To arrange Namahatta package programs and Shraddha Kutir in every district to teach Harinama’s Jayadhvani, Tulsi Arati, Sri Goursundar’s Arati Kirtan and Vaishnava etiquette in every town, village and mahalla.
For those who want to donate money to spread the name of God, a monthly Namahatta service project is launched to use the money of all lucky ones in the service of God.
To success human life by gaining the grace of the Dham and participating in the service of the Dham through participating in the Navadwip Dham and Gourmandal Parikrama.
To build a large household community in the villages, in the light of Krishna Consciousness through the Namahatta peaching.
Namahatta district, district conference, weekly Namahatta educational activities, educational tours, turning every house into a temple.

Namahatta Preaching in Bangladesh
To strengthen and accelerate the Namahatta campaign in Bangladesh, Namahatta World Preacher and ISKCON, GBC and Diksha-Guru – Srila Jaypataka Swami Gurumaharaj had inaugurated and laid down the foundation stone of Central Namahatta on 16 November 2012 at Sri Lakshmi Narayan Jiu Mandir, 35, Tanuganj Lane (Lohar Pool), Sutrapur, near to Swamibag ISKCON Temple. Almost all the ceremonies of Lord Krishna are held at the central Namahatta office. Besides, ISKCON, Swamibagh is also playing a helpful role in promoting Namahatta through its branch Namahatta office. At present, there are more than 400 Namahattas registered in Bangladesh through Dhaka Central Namahatta. Apart from registration, there are many communities in town & villages known as Namahatta Sraddha Kutir.

The grace of Lord Nityananda is required to get the service of Sri Sri Radha Krishna. And to get this grace, it is the sole duty of everyone to spread the Namahatta Preaching.
