Spiritual Academy for formation & Education আধ্যাত্মিক জীবন গঠন ও বিদ্যাপীঠ। ছাত্র-ছাত্রীরা একটি আদর্শ জীবনপ্রণালী গ্রহণের অপূর্ব সুযোগ লাভের মাধ্যমে সামাজিক অবক্ষয়ের হাত থেকে নিজেকে রক্ষা করতে পারবে। একটি পারমার্থিক শিক্ষা ব্যবস্থা ও সাংস্কৃতিক চর্চার মাধ্যমে আধ্যাত্মিক চেতনাকে বিকশিত করতে পারবে। এই একডেমি ‘জাগ্রত ছাত্র সমাজ’ গঠনের মাধ্যমে সংঘবদ্ধভাবে ছাত্র-ছাত্রীদের কৃষ্ণভাবনামৃত অনুশীলনের সুযোগ প্রদান করবে। পাশাপাশি পিতা-মাতা, অভিভাবক, শিক্ষক, সমাজসেবকসহ সমাজের বিভিন্ন স্তরের মানুষ এই কার্যক্রমে যুক্ত হয়ে নিজে উপকৃত হবেন এবং আদর্শ সমাজ গঠনে ভূমিকা রাখতে পারবেন।

From the very early age of life, one has to take the path devotion, since whatever is received at that time, is firmly fixed on one’s nature. Therefore, Prahlad Maharaj says in the Srimad Bhagavatam as follows-
kaumära äcaret präjïo
dharmän bhägavatän iha
durlabhaà mänuñaà janma
tad apy adhruvam arthadam
“One who is sufficiently intelligent should use the human form of body from the very beginning of life—in other words, from the tender age of childhood—to practice the activities of devotional service, giving up all other engagements. The human body is most rarely achieved, and although temporary like other bodies, it is meaningful because in human life one can perform devotional service. Even a slight amount of sincere devotional service can give one complete perfection.”
Keeping the mind on the vision above, Jagrata Chatra Samaj (student preaching) has been introduced. In accordance to that, this program facilitate through arranging training the students to become Krsna consciousness and making them active preacher for future.
Over the year, various devotees are involved in different aspects of school preaching. The goals are to organize systematic program for students in schools and colleges (local and also around), to have discourses on Bhagavad gita and other basic philosophy based on Srila Prabhupada’s books and to finally make them strong Krishna conscious devotees. In spite of various problems, the department is still working hard to achieve their goals and preach to the students and make them into intelligent preachers.
REGULAR ACTIVITIES OF JAGRATA CHHATRA SAMAJ
Each student group meets either in the school or in any student’s house for one and a half hours weekly. First they chant Hare-Krsna Maha-Mantra, recite mangalacharana (prelude) and one verse from Bhagavad-gita. Next they read from the book named ‘Jagrata Cetana’ (text books with 100 basic spiritual questions and answers), has been published for them. Devotees, organize the program, ask different questions from the books, and also discuss about particular topics related to ISKCON and Srila Prabhupada and give a task for next week. Students also share their realizations of the day. They chant one round of Hare-Krsna Maha-Mantra again and the program ends with taking Prasadam (Lord’s remnants).
Every year, an annual Student Conference is held. Moreover, for the benefit of the society, the student groups organize seminars, local pandal programs, class, drama and video-show in different areas regularly.
